About
From the time I was nine years old, I’ve been sewing. I started with tailoring and making household items, and not long after, it naturally turned into designing and making clothing. I was an early bloomer, and from a young age nothing truly fit my body the way it should. Creating clothes tailored to my exact shape became both a necessity and a passion.
By the time I was sixteen, this passion had turned into a business while I was still in high school. Friends, their parents, and even teachers began reaching out to me for handmade pieces and tailoring work. As my client base grew, I had the opportunity to work alongside my mentor and close friend, Carmi Moore, who ran a styling and consulting business. Through her guidance and support, I built a reputation throughout Upstate New York, from my hometown of Herkimer to Syracuse and Albany.
When I went to college, I stayed in Herkimer and attended the local community college for two and a half years, studying Fashion Merchandising and Business. During this time, I participated in additional fashion programs, including Fashion Show Production. We hosted sewing classes for students both in and outside the classroom, as well as runway modeling courses. I graduated with significant recognition for my work, thanks to the education and mentorship of my college professor—now a dear friend—Amy Roepnack.
It was through these runway shows that my modeling career began. I learned how to use social media to my advantage, and as my online presence grew, so did my audience. I continued making clothing for myself, while also taking on custom and tailoring requests. The more I shared my designs through modeling, the more people discovered this side of my work.
For a long time, it was just me, my sewing machine, and my bedroom—creating one-of-one pieces. Now, I’m stepping into a new era. My designs are moving into production, allowing the people who have followed my journey to finally own and wear my work. I’m incredibly excited for this next chapter—not only for myself, but for everyone who has supported me along the way.
